Best Netflix in August for kids, families
Is “Now and Then” more for parents or more for kids? Maybe it’s the perfect family movie.
The 1995 coming-of-age film starring Demi Moore, Rita Wilson, Melanie Griffith and Rosie O’Donnell explores the unforgettable summer of 12-year-old girls as remembered by women who return home to help their pregnant friend.
On the other end of the spectrum, there are all five “Rocky” movies.
“Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer” is a tween favorite.
And the little ones can watch a new season of “Trolls,” “Super Monsters” and “Spirit” specials.
Here’s a look at the best family programming for August. (See the full listing of August Netflix offerings here, including what parents will want to watch when the kids are in bed.)
